    They will go round and round! 24 ultra bright smart led for neoixels are arranged in a circle with 90mm) outside diameter and 74mm) inside diameter. The rings are chainchainable'-connect the output pin of one to the input pin of another. Use just one microcontroller pin to control as many as you can current together! Each led is addressable as the driver chip is inside the led. Each drive has a constant current drive so that the color will be very consistent even if the voltage varies, and no external choke resistors are needed making the design slim. Turn on the whole thing with 5vdc and you're ready to rock.
     
    There is a single row of data with a very time specific protocol. Since the protocol is very sensitive to timing, it requires a real time microrolo such as avr, for arduin, pic, mbed, etc. It cannot be used with a linux-based microcomputer or microcontroller interpreted as the netduino or basic seal. Our beautifully written neoixel library for arduino supports these pixels! As it requires hand-tuned mounting it is only for avr cores, but others may have ported this chip driver code, so please google around. A processor 8 mhz or faster is required.
